在吉隆坡生活了几十年，也该写写有关这城市的东西。说到吉隆坡你想到什么？什么东西能代表吉隆坡, KLCC？ Shopping？夜生活？美食？
我还是喜欢有关华人与吉隆坡的故事，当谈到华人与吉隆坡，一定要说说这条街，有人叫它唐人街，有人叫它八打灵街，也有人叫它茨厂街。对，就是它，它的名字叫茨厂街。一条最能代表吉隆坡华人的街。
我不是什么历史学者，也不是什么华社研究人员，我只是一个过客。目睹茨厂街的变化，只想记录一些有关它的变化，它的故事。长篇大论的历史文章，让张集强写吧！茨厂街的美食文章，让林金城写吧！我只是想记录一点点的茨厂街，一点点的文字，一点点的相片，一点点的回忆.....
我只想茨厂街在我的脑海里还没消失前，让我记录我的感受.....
